Award: $1,155 cash

Applicants must meet the following four criteria:

• Illinois ASBO Member in good standing
• Illinois resident
• Pursuing a degree at an accredited institution in one of the following:
  a. Bachelor's degree
  b. Master's degree (major emphasis in school business management or educational administration) OR
  c. Enrolled in a Chief School Business Official certification program
• Demonstrate the ability, background and interest to successfully complete the degree/program.

The following are ineligible to receive the Illinois ASBO scholarship

• Members of the Scholarship Committee
• Illinois ASBO Board
• Illinois ASBO Staff, and
• Members of the immediate families of those stated above.
