By providing a means of networking and professional development to professionals in every corner of the state, Regional Organizations bring fluidity to the school business management profession. Members and non-members gain professional input and learn about local issues through monthly Regional meetings.
Considered the voice of Service Associate members within Illinois ASBO, the SAAC ensures that issues relevant to the Service Associates are dialogued and addressed by the Illinois ASBO Board of Directors. As an intermediate agency between the Illinois State Board of Education and local school districts, the office of the Regional Superintendent performs regulatory functions as directed by the Illinois School Code.
