The hard working backbone of Illinois ASBO, PDCs generate the professional development seminars, workshops and Conference breakout sessions that keep Illinois ASBO members at the top of the School Business Management Profession. Volunteering on a PDC offers you opportunities to network, make a difference, learn, and to give back to the profession.
By providing a means of networking and professional development to professionals in every corner of the state, Regional Organizations bring fluidity to the school business management profession. Members and non-members gain professional input and learn about local issues through monthly Regional meetings.
Considered the voice of Service Associate members within Illinois ASBO, the SAAC ensures that issues relevant to the Service Associates are dialogued and addressed by the Illinois ASBO Board of Directors. Applying for the SAAC is a way to a great way to up your involvement and increase your reach within Illinois ASBO.
The chief administrative officer of a Regional Office of Education, and the only elected education professional office in Illinois. As an intermediate agency between the Illinois State Board of Education and local school districts, the office of the Regional Superintendent performs regulatory functions as directed by the Illinois School Code.
