Earn Your Doctoral Degree Through a New Partnership with Concordia University Chicago
Illinois ASBO and Concordia University Chicago have partnered to provide doctoral studies in Educational Leadership. This program has been designed especially with the needs of school business officials in mind. Choose to study, in-person, online of through a hybrid format!
The Concordia University Chicago Department of Leadership is at the forefront in providing educators with quality, relevant, and current graduate education, which enhances the leadership of public and nonpublic teachers and administrators as they positively impact schools.
This program leads to an Ed.D. or Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with the option of endorsement as a superintendent.
- Earn your Ed.D. or Ph.D. – Depending on your goals, choose the Ed.D., (Practitioner) or Ph.D. (Researcher) track. Earning a Ph.D. requires an additional six hours of study in research and statistics.
- Study in a hybrid format – The combination of online and face-to-face class options provides flexibility to working professionals without losing the opportunity to engage with others in person.
- Get a Superintendent Endorsement and/or Professional Educator License (PEL) – During the second year of studies there are two chances to complete the Illinois Superintendent Exam. You can also choose to apply for your PEL.
- Benefit from experienced faculty — Learn from distinguished school practitioners and researchers in business, instruction, leadership and more.
