Recognized as one of the nation's largest state education conferences, the event is open to local school board members, superintendents and secretaries, school administrators, state and regional educators and officials, school attorneys, university professors, exhibitors and guests.

Illinois ASBO's Joint Annual Conference Hospitality

Save the date and mark you calendar to join us for the Hospitality on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in conjunction with the IASB/IASA/Illinois ASBO Joint Annual Conference at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. This is an adult-only event for Illinois ASBO members and their guests. 

Pre Conference Academies

These academies will be held on November 21 in conjunction with 2025 IASB/IASA/Illinois ASBO Joint Annual Conference.
Academy attendees are not required to be registered for the Joint Annual Conference.

Seminar on School Finance

The content of this seminar will include property taxes, completion of the tax levy,  Evidence-Based Funding Formula computations and school district budgets.  The annual financial report will also be taught and then used as a basis for discussing the preparation of multi-year financial and capital projections.

Learning From Lincoln: Leadership Practices

Leadership qualities linked to leading others and school success will be highlighted. Participants will leave the session with a repertoire of strategies and insights that they can apply immediately in their own workplace contexts.
