No, Illinois ASBOnline will always remain free as an Illinois ASBO member benefit. Starting July 1, 2022, you will have the option to upgrade to Illinois ASBOnline+ during your next membership renewal process. However, if you do not choose this add-on, you will not lose access to Illinois ASBOnline. Members can still access School Business 101s, Lunch and Learns, and any course they paid and registered for in the past.

Illinois ASBOnline is available free to all members with a select catalogue of PD offerings. To upgrade and unlock the full catalogue of courses and free perks, you can select the Illinois ASBOnline+ add-on during your next membership renewal cycle.

Illinois ASBOnline+ subscribers unlock the full catalog of online professional development, including but not limited to: School Business 101s, Lunch and Learns, Past Conference Sessions and Archived Webinars. Upgrading to Illinois ASBOnline+ also enables you to earn unlimited PD clock hours and one free micro-credential (valued at $180) during the length of your membership term. 

At this time. PD credit is only available for those who upgrade their access to Illinois ASBOnline+ starting July 1, 2022. If you have questions about receiving PD credit, please contact Rebecca Anderson.

Other offerings, like Micro-credentials and Administrator Academies, require paid registration to unlock the professional development within Illinois ASBOnline.
