Illinois ASBO is devoted to the school business profession and providing high quality professional development, resources, networking and advocacy to our members. We have relationships with many other organizations in each of these categories to benefit our members.

When it comes to advocacy, our partnership with IASA, IASB, IPA and other educational partners allow us to have significant impact on educational issues. This collaboration brings a consistent and reliable voice to legislators and other stakeholders on issues impacting education. Illinois ASBO and these associations also partner with other educational advocacy organizations as needed to create an even larger umbrella of support for big issues.

In the education arena, Illinois ASBO partners with Northern Illinois University and Southern Illinois University to bring high-quality opportunities to those who are pursuing careers in school business management and educational leadership.

Illinois ASBO also engages within the broader school business network through ASBO International, other state ASBO affiliates, as well as the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association (IGFOA).
