School Business Official Contract Checklist

With the expert help of Sara Boucek, Associate Director and Legal Counsel for IASA and Stanley Eisenhammer, Partner with Hodges, Loizzi, Eisenhammer, Rodick & Kohn LLP, we have developed a contract checklist that can be the starting point for analysis of your current contract or discussion about future contracts. Not every contract will contain every clause, but here you can see the key elements that are worthy of consideration.

To accompany this checklist, we have also collected a bank of language clauses from existing school business contracts. Please note that these are only examples and have not been reviewed by our counsel, however, the clauses are currently being used in Illinois contracts.
