Would you like to award PD credit for attendance at your upcoming regional meeting? Illinois ASBO has established a process and timeline for submitting credit for attending a Regional Meeting. 

Process and Timeline: 

1. Download the NEW ISBE 73-58 form and either the Illinois ASBO PD Activity Form without Standards or the Illinois ASBO PD Activity Form with Standards.
   • New Instructions for ISBE 73-58
     
     • First two lines are pre-filled
     • Name of presenters at meeting
     • Name of Activity: is the name of your Regional Organization
     • Date of the Activity: date of actual meeting
     • Location of Activity: general location
     • Number of PD Hours: 1 or 2. Please remember meeting discussion and roundtables are not eligible for PD hours. PD hours is the time the actual presenter listed above spoke.
     • You can skip everything in Section 1 — these meetings are NOT State Mandated
     • Check Box: that you certify the above is accurate
     • Section 2: brief description of presentation
     • Section 3: Choose 1 of the 3 options and state how presentation will impact chosen area
     • Section 4: Write how presentation aligns with at least 1 Standard
     • Section 5: Check at least 1 area where PD aligns
     • Section 6: State why - USE the words - STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT or SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT in statement
     • Section 7: Check at least 1 purpose
     • Section 8: Check at least 1 alignment with national Standards for PD
       
       
2. Send both completed forms to Holly Wallace at one week prior to event date.
3. Have attendees sign-in and out at event.
4. Scan sign-in sheet and email to Holly Wallace within two business days after the event.
5. A survey will be sent out to attendees within 5 business days of receiving the sign-in sheet.
6. Credits will be awarded within 30 days of the event to members only who have registered for the meeting and signed in and out.
