Illinois ASBO Welcomes New Executive Director — Kristopher Monn, Ed.D.!

Illinois ASBO is thrilled to announce that our new Executive Director, Kristopher Monn, Ed.D. has officially started. Please take a moment to watch this video, where previous Executive Director Dr. Michael Jacoby shares his wisdom and officially passes the baton to Dr. Monn before some brief remarks. Micro-credential: Tax Levy Process

The Tax Levy Process micro-credential requires the practitioner to demonstrate the skills necessary to implement the tools, terminology and processes to facilitate a realistic, effective and efficient tax levy process.

Practitioners are encouraged to view the Course Checklist and Micro-credential Rubric prior before enrolling.

While a micro-credential is not a course, it is a personalized opportunity to prove proficiency that helps you increase your marketability and stand out amongst others in the field. Illinois ASBO micro-credentials are designed around the concept of competency-based learning.action.

Advocacy

Illinois ASBO's Vision for Advocacy is to be the foremost knowledgeable voice for promoting sound school business practices to the Illinois Legislature, ISBE and other state policymakers. We work together with other school management organizations in Illinois to advocate for schools in Springfield. Illinois ASBO members benefit from email updates on legislative issues as well as the opportunity to get involved in the legislative process.
