School Business 101: Remediation Plans

The remediation plan for an employee is a complicated process. As supervisors, we hope to remediate the performance and retain the employee. In cases where the employee can not change bad behavior or improve performance there are many documents and processes that one must follow in a remediation plan.

This School Business 101 reviews ways to set up a remediation plan, what documents are required and also a timeline with items on how to address the issues at hand and a plan to make sure that due process and legal rights are correctly followed. At the end of the on-line viewing, a participant will have an overview of how to address the situation and what is necessary to set up a remediation plan for an employee as a supervisor.
