Illinois ASBO's online professional development series delivers topics that are essential to your success! “Brown bag it” and spend a working lunch addressing tactical issues that will help you fulfill your job functions.  

Illinois ASBO hosts “Webinar Wednesdays” at no cost throughout the school year. Each webinar is hosted via Zoom from 12:00pm to 1:00pm and offers one PD Clock Hour of credit to Illinois ASBO members. Attendees must sign in to Illinois ASBOnline to access the webinar link. Please refer to the FAQ below for more information.

Per ISBE regulations, you must be logged in for the entire webinar to receive the clock hour credit.​ Credit will only be awarded to Illinois ASBO members.

Join presenters on Wednesday, October 4 from 12:00 - 1:00pm for a Lunch & Learn webinar on Bond Proceed Strategies and Arbitrage Rebate Compliance Requirements. This session will provide a brief update regarding the outlook for the economy, specifically focusing on key items that could impact bond proceeds investment strategies. In addition, presenters will discuss how arbitrage rebate and yield restriction rules apply to a bond issue, how to apply strategies and/or exceptions to maximize retained earnings in a positive arbitrage environment and how to identify an accrued liability on a bond issue and prepare for a payment to the IRS.

Where do I find my login information?

Your login information for Illinois ASBOnline is the same login information you use to access Illinois ASBO's website and online member community, Peer2Peer. All active members will have free access to Illinois ASBOnline and the ability to upgrade for additional perks. Need more information on membership? Click here!

How do I join live Lunch & Learn Webinars?

To access a live Lunch & Learn, you must first register through Illinois ASBO. Lunch & Learns are currently free but require registration for tracking and attendance purposes. After registering, you will receive log in information to your email that includes an Illinois ASBOnline course link. Please note this will require you to log in to Illinois ASBOnline, so please refer to "Where do I find my login information" if you require further assistance.

On the day of the webinar, access the course link and use the "Join the Webinar" button to be automatically connected to Zoom! To view a step-by-step walkthrough of joining a live webinar, please click here!

How do I receive PD credit for my learning?

At this time, PD credit is only available for members who attend Lunch & Learn webinars or those who upgrade their access to Illinois ASBOnline+ starting July 1, 2022. If you have questions about receiving PD credit, please contact Rebecca Anderson at (815) 753-8150 or randerson@iasbo.org

Other offerings, like Micro-credentials and Administrator Academies, require paid registration to unlock the professional development within Illinois ASBOnline.
