He has 15 years of experience in commercial HVAC, three years as a building engineer at District 87 and has spent the last eight years at CCSD93. He is the current chair of the Illinois ASBO Maintenance & Operations PDC, holds both CPMM and CPS certifications and has completed the Illinois ASBO Facility Management Designation Program and the Facilities Operations Program.

Formally a police officer, he was responsible for writing the Field Training Officer program for his police department. With over thirty years of construction management experience and cumbrous certifications and a degree in HVAC/R, both the CPS (Certified Plant Manager) certification and the CPMM certification.

He has contributed articles in the Illinois ASBO Facility Magazine and presented at both the Illinois ASBO Annual Conference and at the Midwest Facilities Conference.
