2024 Facility Excellence Leader of the Year!

The Illinois Association of School Business Officials has been named the 2024 Facility Excellence Leader of the Year from the Association for Facilities Engineering®. Recognized for their unwavering commitment to Facility Excellence, Illinois ASBO prioritizes education and training within the facilities they serve, utilizing CPMM, CPS and other AFE training programs to enhance proficiency and performance.

AFE Honors™ recognize the achievements made by facilities management professionals in the field as well as their communities. Being named the 2019 Honoree recognizes the hard work of Illinois ASBO over the last year to advance the aims of the CPMM credentialing program as a model for others to follow. A special mention goes to Scott Mackall and John Fuhrer, members of the team who helped develop Illinois ASBO/AFE facilities certification programs. They will be accepting the award on Illinois ASBO's behalf in September.
